RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety issued a missing person alert for Whitney Black Elk, a 29-year-old female.
Black Elk is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair, possibly dyed green. She was last seen driving a black 2014 KIA Forte with 605AUTO temporary plates.
According to authorities, Black Elk was last seen wearing dark joggers, a long sleeve dark shirt, and carrying a peach-colored bag. Family members have not had contact with her since April 4, 2024, and she has not been active on her social media page.
Anyone with information on Whitney Black Elk's whereabouts is urged to contact their local police department or the Oglala Sioux Tribe dispatch at 605-867-5111.
